Membership Events
As a member, you are invited to exclusive events, including previews of special exhibits, holiday parties, members-only mornings, pizza parties and ice cream socials, all when the museum is closed to the public. You also receive reduced rates on events that are open to the public such as Big Truck Day and Fairy Tale Tea.

Member Appreciation Week
Thank you for being a member! Join us September 14 – 19 for a special Member Appreciation Week. During this week, A Little Bit of Magic and the Children’s Village will open early, at 9:30 am just for our members. In addition, enjoy a light breakfast each weekday!
The Member Appreciation Week is a free members-only event and reservations are not required. We look forward to seeing you!
Halloween Members-Only Morning

Get ready for some early morning magic with your little pumpkins on Monday, October 25 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at our Halloween Members-Only Morning. This bewitching members-only event is perfect for even our youngest members since there are no scary tricks, only lots of treats! Play and trick-or-treat in A Little Bit of Magic and the Children’s Village, listen to Halloween tales, enjoy juice and a special brew for the adults (available in regular and decaf!) and be treated to some wickedly good doughnuts.

Members-Only Halloween Party

Knock, knock! Who’s there? Water. Water who? “Water” you doing on Wednesday, October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm? It’s no joke! The Magic House is inviting you to a spook-tacular members-only Halloween Party. The Magic House has also invited a few other characters including a very curious monkey, a famous wizard and a princess who lost her shoe.
Children of all ages are invited to dress in their most “boo-tiful” Halloween costumes and have a ghoulishly good time getting autographs from their favorite storybook characters, “goblin” up pizza, drinking ghoul-aid and trick-or-treating throughout the museum.
The cost for this thrilling event is only $3 per person for adults and children over the age of one. A non-refundable payment is required when making your reservation. Reservations can be made by calling (314) 822-8900, ext 33 or online. Check-in will be at the Main Entrance. Beware, your kids may haunt you if you miss this event!
Grandparent Holiday Breakfast

Grandparent members and their grandkids are sure to go nuts over the classic story of a lonely girl who receives a wooden nutcracker that takes her on a magical adventure full of evil mice, dancing fairies and distant lands. Join us on Sunday, December 5 at 9:00 am for a Grandparent Holiday Breakfast. After the delicious breakfast, enjoy the 10:00 am members-only performance of The Nutcracker presented by the Imaginary Theatre Company.
This event is $5 per person and is for Grandparent members of The Magic House only. Space is limited and reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling (314) 822-8900, ext 33 or online. This event is sure to make grandparents and grandchildren alike crack a smile.

Have yourself a merry morning at The Magic House. Get in the holiday spirit and join us with bells on Monday, December 20 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for our jolliest Members-Only Morning of the year! Santa Claus is coming to town early just to meet our members!
We’re setting out a plate full of doughnuts and juice from Prairie Farms Dairies. Adults are welcome to a cup of cheer (in regular or decaf)! Enjoy A Little Bit of Magic and the Children’s Village all to yourselves, sit on Santa’s lap and listen to Mrs. Claus tell the magical story of a mouse that lives in The Magic House.
